Welcome back everyone! With great weather and lots of festivals and events, July is the month to go crazy in London.

Here are my favourite things to see and do:

Pride in London 2026: 4th July

This year’s London Pride parade will take place on Saturday July 4, starting at 12 noon. It’ll kick off in Green Park, by Hyde Park Corner tube station then travel along Piccadilly towards Piccadilly Circus station, before going south down Haymarket, past Trafalgar Square and down Whitehall, before finishing outside Big Ben.

Who is performing at Pride in London 2026?

The line-up for this year hasn’t been announced yet, but it’s likely to include a mix of big name pop stars, Drag Race faves and smaller queer acts, spread across multiple stages.

Wimbledon Tennis Screenings in London

This year, the action will take place between Monday June 29 and Sunday July 12 2026. Thousands of people will be descending on SW19 to see the matches IRL. If you haven’t got tickets and don’t fancy camping overnight to get in, there are plenty of live screenings taking place all over London you can go to instead.

. Centre Court Yard – Soho

Soho hotel Ham Yard is creating a Centre Court in the city this summer, so you can watch all the action at the Wimbledon tennis championships alfresco without having to queue. The hotel restaurant’s leafy courtyard is setting up a huge LED screen showing all the matches.

. Covent Garden Market

This grand neoclassical market building in the heart of Covent Garden is a true London landmark. Since 1980, after traffic congestion forced the traditional fruit-and-veg market to relocate, Covent Garden Market has reinvented itself as a serious shopping destination. And now the whole area is pedestrianised to encourage punters to browse in safety. On Mondays, it’s filled with stalls selling antiques and collectables; then from Tuesday to Sunday, it welcomes a broader range of traders offering everything from handmade jewellery to artisan soaps. There are plenty of permanent retail units, too, mainly housing fancy brands like Mulberry and Tom Ford.

. Portman Square Garden – Marylebone

Portman Square Garden’s Summer in the Square returns for its eleventh year this summer from July 7-12 with another programme of outdoorsy summer fun including wellbeing workshops, kids activities, a fully stocked bar and specially-picked street food stalls. And it wouldn’t be summer without Wimbledon. It’ll be showing all the major matches in the final week of the tournament. Expect comfy deckchairs and food from popular local restaurants on rotation in the guest kitchen.
