Welcome back everyone. London is a famously green city. A lot of that open space, though, consists of private squares and gardens, most of which we never get to see. But in June there is the opportunity to visit all these secretive private spaces.

London Square Open Gardens – Various London locations/ 7th and 8th June
The event exclusively reveals some of the city’s least-seen spaces: historical, traditional, contemporary and experimental, across all four corners (and the middle bit) of London. They include formal gated garden squares, rooftop terraces with commanding views of the city skyline, community allotments and wildlife havens.

Listen to some alfresco Jazz at a new Battersea venue – Nine Elms/ until 11th July
Put a bit of jazz pizazz into your Friday nights with this concert series, held in a new Battersea venue. World Heart Beat Gardens is an intimate 200-seater concert hall that’s been built for optimal acoustics. It’s perfect for filling your ears with the sounds of some jazz greats, from 1920s classics .
